Call for Nominations for CACA Young Investigator Award
The Chinese American Chromatography Association (CACA) invites nominations for a 2016 CACA Young Investigator Award. The Award recognizes outstanding contributions to the development of separation science and its applications, especially in the field of chromatography. The Award will be presented at the Pittcon Conference & Expo 2016 to be held in March 6 – 10, 2016, in Atlanta, GA, USA. The awardee will give a presentation in a CACA workshop at Pittcon 2016. An honorarium and travel expenses are included with the award.
Eligibility:
The CACA Young Investigator Award is open to all CACA members who are within 10 years of receiving their highest degree at the time of the award session.

Evaluation:
Application packages will be evaluated by the CACA Awards committee. The applicants are judged on the originality and overall quality of work, significance to the advancement of separation science and other supporting factors. Measures of the impact of the work include publications, presentations, patents, and leadership roles at their research fields or place of business.
Application package:
An application package must consist of the following items,
1) A cover letter summarizing the applicant’s contribution to the field of separation science.
2) A resume including contact information, academic credentials, work experience, and publication list of the nominee.
3) A maximum of three supporting letters from individuals in the field.
4) A headshot photo.
The candidates can be self-nominated or nominated by any separation science experts in the field. The deadline for the 2016 CACA Award nomination is Dec. 31, 2015. The awardee will be selected by the CACA Awards committee and notified by Jan. 31, 2016. Details of CACA and its free membership are listed at http://www.ca-ca.org/.
